In an afternoon cafe, Kang Baoyi caught sight of a tall figure out of the corner of her eye.
She looked up. A man in gray slacks, with brown hair swept back, long legs, and a narrow waist.
He bent his head slightly, furrowing his thick brows as he focused on his computer screen.
His gray sleeves were rolled halfway up his arms, revealing the clear veins on his forearms.
Kang Baoyi's eyes widened. She silently marveled at his straight nose, long eyelashes, and how incredibly good he looked in a shirt!
Excitedly, she took out her tablet and sketched his features on the canvas with her stylus.
When she finished the outline and looked up, the seat across from her was empty.
The second time she saw him was on a train bound for London.
This time he wore a black shirt. As he looked down at his computer, his long-fingered hand absently brushed his neck.
Kang Baoyi's heart fluttered. Pressing down a smile, she told her friend, I ran into him again!
The journey lasted ten minutes. She agonized over how to strike up a conversation, but didn't dare take the first step before he got off.
In the end, she watched through the window as he walked away, her heart fluttering and her spirits sinking.
Half a month later, the man's profile appeared in the suggested accounts on the homepage of one of Baoyi's Instagram friends.
One late night, Frederick received a new message.
Bare-chested, he casually opened it. It was a drawing.
The man in the picture was him, shown from the waist up, head slightly bowed, the veins on his exposed forearm standing out.
Frederick raised an eyebrow slightly and regarded the drawing with interest. His long fingers leisurely traced his Adam's apple, and the corner of his mouth lifted faintly.
Later...
In the morning, white sunlight filtered through sheer curtains, casting slender shadows over Kang Baoyi's flushed cheeks. Her slender legs were bent together.
Frederick lowered his eyelids and ran his long fingers along her slender neck, his thumb flicking a golden bell. He lifted his lips slightly and ordered in a husky voice,
"Kiss me now."
If a puppy loves you, she will love you boldly, passionately, and sincerely until death.
Kang Baoyi's dizzying charm is what captivates people most, just like the way I love you.

Apple Green
The literary films Jiang Guansong invested in won award after award, making him famous.
He spent his days at celebration parties, raising glasses and making merry, until a phone call sent him home in high spirits.
At the Jiang family estate, Jiang Guansong sat with his legs apart, resting his cheek on one hand as he asked listlessly, "Dad, why'd you call me back?"
After calmly finishing his tea, his father informed him, "The Luo family's youngest daughter is coming back to the country at the end of the month. Go pick her up, take good care of her, and get along with her."
Jiang Guansong went from bewildered to suddenly understanding, then blurted out in shock,
"What do you mean? You're marrying me off? Is there something wrong with the financial reports? Are we going bankrupt?"
Overnight, the Jiang family's young master was engaged and forced into an arranged marriage, losing his freedom.
So while trying to get along with Luo Rong, Jiang Guansong deliberately told her how miserable loveless marriages were, hoping to scare her off.
Luo Rong listened quietly, then said, "Feelings can grow."
Jiang Guansong was at a loss for words. A few seconds later, he bluntly poured cold water on her hopes. "Can love really grow? All you'll get is familial affection."
A few months later, in the dim light of dawn and dusk,
Jiang Guansong rose, glistening with a light sheen of sweat, and circled her slender waist from behind. In a husky voice, he confessed, "I love you, bb."
But Luo Rong murmured, "Don't call me bb. Love can't grow."
He was willing to bend. "Then bb can call me big brother."
-
On a flight from Hong Kong to London, Luo Rong first saw Jiang Guansong.
His black sunglasses pressed his hair down. He had deep-set features, a straight nose, and a small red mole beside his Adam's apple.
He took off his black suit, leaving only a vest of the same color. His arms were beautifully defined, his long legs were encased in suit trousers, and his narrow waist was trim and muscular.
After landing, she called Martin. "What do you think about an arranged marriage, bro?"
Martin understood at once. "Who's caught your eye?"
"Jiang Guansong, from the Jiang family in Hong Kong."
Later, Jiang Guansong, who had insisted love couldn't grow, willingly bent his neck and handed her the reins.
He never tired of telling her, "I love you, bb."

Miracle
That day, at a ski resort in Scotland, a friend dragged Qi Ji along to ski.
She lost her balance and was about to tumble down the snowy slope when someone grabbed her arm. She looked up and met a pair of smiling, flirtatious eyes.
Once she was steady on her feet, Zheng Shaoxian brought her a turtle-shaped padded seat, kindly helped her put it on, and patted her ski goggles.
"Don't be afraid. I'm here."
In a foreign land, her unsettled heart found a home in an instant.
In everyone's eyes, Zheng Shaoxian only treated Qi Ji as an obedient playmate, teasing and indulging her without ever taking her seriously.
Qi Ji, however, continued to like him as always, willingly settling for being his backup.
Until Zheng Shaoxian stood Qi Ji up again.
That night at a bar, she saw him with his arm around a girl in a miniskirt, kissing her passionately.
Qi Ji finally gave up. She blocked him on every platform.
One night, Zheng Shaoxian finally came to his senses and chased after Qi Ji to the apartment building where she lived back home, ready to deliver a long speech and beg her to take him back.
Instead, he saw Tan Yuhuai downstairs, the second young master of the Tan family, whom everyone wanted to marry into.
The person he held intimately in his arms was Qi Ji.
Tan Yuhuai gave him a cold look. "What do you want?"
Zheng Shaoxian's eyes turned red and his fists clenched, but he didn't dare say a word.
-
Qi Ji met Tan Yuhuai in the emergency room of Beijing People's Hospital.
He wore a white shirt, with a black suit draped over his arm. The right sleeve was half rolled up, and his forearm was bandaged.
Half an hour earlier, she'd crashed into Tan Yuhuai's car. She was completely unharmed, but she'd injured him.
After he finished a phone call, Qi Ji approached him, guilt-ridden. "Mr. Tan, I'll take responsibility."
Tan Yuhuai spun his phone between his fingers. His eyelids lowered, his eyes long and narrow, his expression cool and indifferent. His tone was a little roguish. "How are you going to take responsibility? By offering yourself to me?"
Qi Ji froze, staring straight at him, momentarily speechless.
The man gave a faint laugh and loosened his tie. Just as he was about to walk past her, someone tugged at the hem of his clothes.
He looked down into her clear eyes and heard her speak softly.
"Okay."
This time, it was Tan Yuhuai who froze.
People in their social circle had all kinds of opinions about the Qi and Tan families' marriage alliance.
Most thought the Qi family was reaching above its station. There was no shortage of sour remarks, either: So what if she married well? They're still a fake couple, together in name only.
Later, at a party, someone spotted Qi Ji pulling Tan Yuhuai down by his tie to kiss him.
She seemed to be sulking and kissed him fiercely, but only managed to reach his chin.
Annoyed, she glared at him and bit his chin.
Tan Yuhuai smiled instead of getting angry. He lowered his gaze tenderly, leaned down, and lifted her into his arms, coaxing her in his deep, magnetic voice.
"Go ahead and kiss me."
Twenty minutes later, everyone was stunned.
Tan Yuhuai, rumored to be cold and unfeeling, was carrying his supposedly "estranged" wife out of the venue.
The ring of teeth marks on his chin had yet to fade. The woman in his arms had ears flushed red, and her long fingers hooked around a pair of delicate silver heels.

Theme: Loving yourself should always come first
It's good-looking, but too little. I update it once a week and the number of words is still small. If I update it, it will be 400 words more. Can I update it a little more? [Hold your chin] The plot is not enough right now. I can't even tell a single plot in one chapter.
