The main story is undergoing a major revision.
Shi Min transmigrates by accident and gets a System golden finger from the start.
Just when he thinks he's about to reach the peak of success, the System tells him his life is counting down. He'll be dead in three minutes.
Shi Min: "?"
To stay alive, Shi Min uses the System's highest-success-rate plan: "Pray to the gods." He really wants to complain about it, but decides to give it a shot anyway, since he has nothing to lose.
The countdown to his death keeps ticking down. Just when he thinks he's doomed, a god really does answer his prayers.
A magnetic male voice, brimming with affection for him, says:
[I've indeed heard your desire.]

In the interstellar era, the Empire and the Federation dominate the universe. Aside from nobles and the powerful, ordinary people live with advanced technology but a low quality of life. Their inner worlds are barren, and entertainment is scarce.
Then a young man dressed in strange clothes catches everyone's attention. Holding up a metal sign that reads, "Stay hard all night, eighteen times a night," he asks everyone he meets:
"Friend, do you believe there are gods in this world?"
At first, people sneer at him. It's the year 60XX. Everyone knows the age of the gods ended over a hundred million years ago. What's this kid trying to pull, some kind of scam?
Later, everyone is carrying a metal sign and wearing a burlap cloak, asking everyone they meet:
"Friend, do you believe in God?"

When the Federation and the Empire discovered the no-name church that had sprung up in some obscure corner, they paid it no mind.
That is, until the church used its outrageous doctrines to win over the people and climb the ranks, eventually establishing a third power among humanity: the Cosmic Church. As the people rallied behind it, it became an entity the Empire and Federation could only look up to. All the people in power were left dumbfounded.
Meanwhile, the church's founder sat in state atop a lofty divine throne, wearing a magnificent crown. Below him knelt a dense crowd of androids, cyborgs, clones, and even insectoids with looks of devout reverence...
Wait, where did those insectoids come from?!
The Federation and Empire, thoroughly outdone, stared in disbelief.
Only Shi Min could see the System's main quest: [Turn the entire interstellar civilization into the divine kingdom of your Lord God]. It was already complete, and the reward was: [A divine envoy favored by the gods may freely wield their divine powers].
Well... If he can wield divine authority, doesn't that make him the one true god of the interstellar world?
Shi Min smiled smugly, playing with the divine scepter in his hand as he felt the god's loving kisses.
"Devout followers, heed my command."
**
Bonus Scene 1:
The streets were plastered with little ads saying things like, "Join the church and stay virile forever." The Empire couldn't take it anymore and began cracking down on the brainwashed followers.
Later, the Empire started distributing newspapers of its own, encouraging people to join the church.
In public, the Empire's regent even drew a heart over his chest with a devout expression, looking like he had already joined.
The people: "???"
So is the virility thing real or not?!!! (Not really)
The Federation sent a letter of abuse from next door: We agreed to resist the church together! Have you no shame?!
**
Bonus Scene 2:
As the pope who ruled the world, Shi Min naturally had plenty of capable subordinates.
For instance, his honest and straight-laced number-one sidekick who did all the snarking, his sunny but unhinged number-two sidekick, his suspicious and sensitive airhead number-three sidekick, and his cool, restrained, clingy number-four sidekick...
[What about me? Do I even count?]
The god who favored Shi Min sounded pitifully aggrieved.
Shi Min calmly gave the incredibly handsome god a quick kiss, swiftly appeasing the jealous god.
Shi Min: "What are you imagining? Don't be a bother, honey."

1. This is a nontraditional cyberpunk story with my own take on the interstellar setting, lots of nonhumans, and a worldbuilding mishmash. It borrows bits and pieces of various frameworks and adds its own details. Everything serves the plot.
2. The male lead is chaotic neutral, self-serving, and a charming heartthrob adored by everyone.
3. The love interest is a love-struck evil god.
Here's the blurb for my next story!
[Blurb]
So, here's what happened. I've recently gotten hooked on a holographic game.
To make it more challenging and fun, I started as an ordinary demon egg that had stolen someone else's place. After hatching, I smashed the Demon Lord's egg beside me and climbed inside, pretending to be a Demon Lord.
The NPC demons believed me. Right there, covered in egg goo, they knelt and cried, "Long live our lord!"
Scam successful, hehe :D
After that, I used an R-rank card to do the work of an SSR-rank one.
I expanded my territory in the Abyss, toyed with the neighboring Demon Lords' feelings, unified the Abyss, infiltrated the Celestial Realm under a secret identity, toyed with an archangel's feelings, attacked the Celestial Realm, invaded the human world, and played with the feelings of the human alliance leader...
Wait!
Why does this human alliance leader look so much like my weak and helpless childhood friend?
I fell into deep thought.
M-my CPU's about to explode.
**
Damn it! I thought I was only playing a holographic game. I never expected it to become real!
Shaking in my demon shell, I faced my childhood friend's knowing smile. The words "Two weeks from today will be the end of humanity!" turned into: "You might not believe me, but I'm actually a peace-loving demon. I came to the human world to establish diplomatic relations. Cuckoo~"
Ah! What am I even saying? I don't believe it myself!
My childhood friend smiled. As I stared in shock, my pupils trembling, he walked over and affectionately stroked the demon horns on my head, making his marriage proposal clear through his actions.
He asked, "Then how does the great Demon Lord wish to establish diplomatic relations?"
H-he actually touched a demon's horns?! Is he trying to take advantage of me, or does he really want to marry me?!!
My mind went blank. I shut my eyes and shouted, "There's no way we could ever be together! Demons and humans are reproductively incompatible!!"
My childhood friend paused, his smile turning dangerous. "Oh? Is that so?"
**
Later, my childhood friend held my true form in his arms and coldly addressed the angels and demons who had invaded the human world to find me, their nemesis/Demon Lord/friend.
"Humans, demons, and angels really are reproductively incompatible, so please leave the human world at once."
The archangel who had a crush on me: "?"
The neighboring Demon Lords who had a crush on me: "??"
The angels and demons were baffled. "How do you know that?"
I broke down. "Aaaaaah!"
No, wait, honey! You don't have to tell everyone about something so private!!

1. A satisfying, everyone-loves-the-male-lead story, featuring a male lead who acts like he's the king of the world. If that's your thing, add it to your collection!
2. The blurb might change before the story starts, but the central premise will stay the same, so don't worry.
Theme: The future is built through the hard work we put in today
Wow, a spiritual attack from behind (no)
Are body and mind the only ones to attack each other?
Sorry, the new guy couldn't find where to comment.
Press claw, claw, claw, claw, claw, come on!
Good news: the introduction is interesting Bad news: I've just started writing and I'm so skinny.
Wuhu, congratulations on the opening of the new paper.
