My next book is [Nonhuman: A Guide to Saving the Other Species]. Please add it to your collection~
With nothing better to do, Luo Fuye started playing a full-immersion game called Ancient Cuisine Shop.
The game was beautifully made, with lifelike graphics and intelligent characters. It was truly a rare gem among business-management games.
Luo Fuye gradually became hooked. Wearing all kinds of gorgeous outfits from the gift packs, she happily opened a snack shop, built a manor, and upgraded technology in this ancient world with wuxia elements.
The NPCs here were unbelievably realistic, but every one of them was super nice and spoke so sweetly. She loved this place!
By then, a widely known "secret" had spread throughout the Great Yong Dynasty, from princes and nobles to commoners:
A beautiful goddess had mistaken Great Yong for another world, settled down here, and begun showering them with blessings!
Golden, crispy fried chicken for forty wen apiece!
Fragrant roujiamo for five wen each!
Spicy, delicious malatang for two wen per skewer!
And on top of that, all kinds of things found only in the divine realm: superior seeds, spices, utensils, technology, recipes...
Everyone kept quiet and guarded the secret, afraid the goddess would realize she had come to the wrong place;
Everyone played along and prayed devoutly, hoping that even after the goddess realized she was in the wrong place, she would still stay in Great Yong...
.
Luo Fuye finally realized she had transmigrated!
She stared silently at her spacious modern manor, an entire street of ancient-style and modern snack shops, and the glittering outfits filling a whole wall of wardrobes.
She remembered how she had sold malatang while wearing the gorgeous, magical "Mysterious Maiden Flying to the Heavens" outfit...
Oh no. Just remembering it was enough to keep her awake from embarrassment!
So you ancient people, who all looked so honest and upright, were actually master actors, every last one of you?
And you lot, aren't you supposed to be martial arts experts? Don't you have any pride?
The intelligence expert became the star performer at my shop?
The hidden-weapon expert became a waiter, greeting customers?
The one with powerful inner strength became a chef, preparing chickens and ducks?
Hey, you! You said you were here to gather intelligence, but you moved your entire sect onto the snack street?!
The Great Yong martial world is doomed!
And then there's you!
You, the honest, quiet, aloof puppy-boy. I thought you were just a well-bred young man from an ordinary family, but you're actually the number-one assassin in the martial world?
Former Number-One Assassin Leng Yi (reaching out to poke her): Fufu?
[Main characters: A fake goddess, real player, cheat-enabled, lazy, elegant beauty * A retired, cold, pure, and extremely cool guy who's a wolfish dog on the outside and a sweet puppy on the inside]
[Reading Notes]
1. I'll try to update daily, with Thursdays off. There is a male lead, and the book is in the romance category. There is a romance plot, but the business-management content outweighs the romance, probably eight to two. The heroine will fall in love, fall in love, fall in love!
2. I'm letting loose with this book, so the protagonist has a huge golden finger, including but not limited to "outfits with special abilities." The protagonist is mistaken for a goddess because of the game System. It's a wish-fulfillment story with people projecting their own ideas onto her, and the goddess secret identity will never be exposed!
3. The setting borrows a little from the Tang Dynasty, but this is a completely fictional ancient world, with wuxia elements too. The main point is indulgent fun!
4. The martial arts are low to mid-level. There are inner arts and lightness skills, but they're not that miraculous. Wuxia is just one element, and there will also be court politics.
5. This isn't a "traditional food story" where nearly every chapter is about food. There will be infrastructure and development, life in the martial world, shopkeeping, comedic misunderstandings, and food, but food is at the center of the development, so the title is still about food~
My completed food-themed novel in the same collection, A Secluded Life with the Number One Under Heaven (Food), is already finished and has lots to read! Please go check it out, everyone! (puffs out chest.jpg)
Below are upcoming novels (add me from my author page, this author has tons of ideas~)
[Romance] [Nonhuman: A Guide to Saving the Other Species]
[Blurb]
The "precious" and fragile other species, beings beyond humanity.
They are slaughtered, enslaved, and harmed, hiding away and barely surviving... nearly driven to extinction.
Who could have known that in the world of the past
Angels circled around God, their soft glow making them an unreachable longing for humanity;
The cries of shamans echoed across the wilderness, while God's blessings were passed down through bonfires and songs;
A lich awoke upon its throne, and skeletal soldiers surged forth like a storm;
A knight in silver armor upon a white horse pointed his sword ahead...
But even the most beautiful civilizations must eventually decline.
When the gods vanished into the divine realm, the shamans' bonfires no longer burned, and the name of the lich tyrant became nothing but ashes in history... they... or rather, "they," became the "other species" in the mouths of the world.
Until "they" met her.
The one who would "save" them.
1. Tyrant lich possessing an alchemy pot x a bard who loves to cook
2. Mutated mermaid who escaped and lives in the sewers x commoner girl who wants to become a captain
3. Black-armored knight betrayed and transformed into a headless horseman x otherworldly queen who lands at the "Tower" to farm and reclaim wasteland
Core theme: Food comforts the heart.
The story setting is very interesting and the concept is very good. I was really touched when I saw the story. When the male protagonist first came out, some people abandoned the story. In fact, the male protagonist is just a background puppy... He doesn't have much of a role in the movie, hahahaha. I do hope there will be more emotional scenes in the extra episode~
The ending of the story is really good. It's rare for me to see an article get better as it gets to the end. . It's a pity that the author's management part is too brushed off, and the narrative ability of the group portraits still needs to be improved. But this last idea really gave me goosebumps. . Especially when people from the future ruthlessly describe Dayong's complicated and terrifying history of people's desperation and displacement in just three or four sentences, I really feel that in the long river of history, ordinary human beings are too insignificant.
It's rare to see a story with a similar setting that doesn't end badly. Both the male protagonist and the female protagonist like it very much [Star Eyes]
Spread flowers ~ I want to watch the extras! I want to see the follow-up and emotional line after the return of the goddess, please do more extras, and I can watch it for another eight hundred years, hahaha
Isn't it a game that I came out of the game warehouse before and then found it boring after spending a few days in the real world? Why did he die suddenly, emm... It feels like the twist here is so stiff, and it doesn't make sense. I remember that at the beginning, the heroine returned to reality twice from the game warehouse, and she also came into contact with the outside world. Why is it transparent that she died directly after coming out of the game warehouse? This is a bug, it is not logical. I really read the article carefully and it is not a fault, but it is not fluent either.
He is great. I learned this from the article written by Mrs. Doctor. My wife actually writes very well, but the popularity of articles sometimes seems to be a bit of a matter of fortune. I saw another wife who became popular twice when she wrote fan fiction, and then wrote original articles. Although I think her writing is still very good, but the data is very poor, and the updates have been discontinued recently. Sometimes, whether the article is good or not and whether it is popular or not are really two different things.
So that's it ah ah ah
What a nice, heartwarming ending.
Why can the heroine go anywhere? What did I miss? Wasn't there a boundary before, and the most we could go to was Chang'an?
