Death Reboot

Tan Yan died.

He was at a celebration, alone beyond the spotlight, when he was silently murdered.

At the moment of his death, he saw for an instant that everyone around him was a monster. Twisted tentacles sprouted from their faces as they stared at him coldly.

Half an hour later, Tan Yan opened his eyes again, this time with a different identity.

When you board a cruise ship that can never dock, what will you do?

Tan Yan wanted to survive. He knew he'd fallen into a rift in time. This world offered him no way out, but he kept struggling, finding the one way to survive amid mockery and despair.

*Nonhuman characters. No conventional male lead: the monsters are actual monsters, nothing like humans. The bottom is genuinely ruthless, using the face of the innocent, delicate flower who dies first in a horror movie to hook the most terrifying fish.

*Some mystery elements. Around 100,000 words, probably.

*This is a crossover with my dear @Yanzhou's The Butterfly Vanishes Like a Storm! Two protagonists in the same world, whose stories overlap in part.

Theme: Maybe, by repeatedly learning from your mistakes, you can find your happy ending.
