Peach Blossom Drunk

At a banquet, Xu Jinshu and the great general Du Yuzhou, whose achievements had made the throne feel threatened, were both set up and made to drink wine spiked with an aphrodisiac called Peach Blossom Drunk.

Someone with an ulterior motive led them to the same place, and they consummated their marriage.

The next day, Du Yuzhou came to propose, and the two were soon married.

On their wedding night, before leaving, Du Yuzhou told her, "Behave yourself, and I will give you the dignity due to a proper wife. Other than that, don't entertain any improper thoughts."

Xu Jinshu agreed. From then on, she quietly managed the general's household as its mistress, never disturbing Du Yuzhou.

But who knew when it began? The man who had always treated her coldly started dropping by her room whenever he had a spare moment.

And every time, he left something behind: hairpins, pastries, land deeds, a puppy, all sorts of things...

Until one evening, the man came over carrying a jar of Peach Blossom Drunk. Xu Jinshu couldn't sit still, so she stopped him at the door. What does the general intend to do?
