Just after starting at Jujutsu High, Geto receives a letter from a distant relative.
The sender claims to have already passed away and wants to leave all their property to Jie, who has the gift of a sorcerer. There is only one condition: he must inherit a library called “Sariel.”
Geto has no interest in accepting this bizarre windfall, but his good friend Go-chan forcibly drags him to Hokkaido and opens the doors to a remote estate on a deserted island.
The two push open the doors to a long-sealed underground grotto. What they see is a “girl” bound tightly inside a magic circle by thirteen iron chains.
White wings, a golden crown shining with a holy halo, and blood-red eyes that could never belong to a human.
“An… angel?!” Shaken by the fantastical sight, Geto cries out and stares in disbelief, eyes wide.
“Hey, you stupid human with the weird bangs at the door. You’re the new heir, aren’t you?”
Sariel, the “angel,” lazily looks up from the enormous book she’s been leafing through out of boredom, gazing at the stunned pair with an amused smile.
“The genius sorcerer known as the ‘Curse Manipulator’ will die on Christmas Eve at the age of twenty-seven…” she reads solemnly from the book. “The power of the Child of God will shatter his heart. One must kill the other, and these dear friends are destined to part forever…”
Her tone is so certain that Geto can’t help turning to look at his good friend: What did I ever do to you for you to go this far?
The smile on Gojo’s face slowly freezes as he is suddenly branded a murderer: ???
“I am the Library of Fate, which has sealed away 99,999 volumes of forbidden books, a treasury holding the wisdom of the King of Sages, the great demon Sariel, known as the ‘Fallen Book Maiden.’”
After finishing her chuuni speech, Sariel closes the book and looks proudly at the now petrified pair. Her huge wings twitch behind her as she lifts her chin and declares, “If you don’t want to die young…”
“Then hurry up and offer up tribute and fine wine, new servant!”
Two-faced troublemaker, fake angel and real demon heroine vs. the strongest man, tormented by magical books and curses until he coughs blood
A crossover with Jujutsu Kaisen, The Book of Bantorra, and other series. Includes original settings, and the plot timeline has been heavily altered. It’s fun and sweet, with friendship in the early story and romance later on.
Theme: Move forward bravely and fear no hardship
