The Clown Just Wants to Slack Off

Also known as The Clown Must Die

After an ordinary person dies and becomes the Joker, how is a lazybones who just wants to slack off supposed to survive in the dangerous DC universe?

But right now, his biggest concern isn't the plot he knows nothing about, nor Batman's pursuit. It's... that hapless Joker with a battered, rag-doll body is him!

And he might become the first transmigrator in history to transmigrate into the Joker and die of an illness.

In the folksy city of Gotham, Zhou Ke'er silently protects his secret identity.

Hang in there, hang in there. He absolutely mustn't let anyone find out that the Joker is still alive.

As soon as he gets better, he'll run for it.

Having made up his mind, Zhou Ke'er watches his doctor die yet again and falls silent.

Maybe he ought to find a doctor who can stick around, like Holmes and Watson.

P.S. Since he's a transmigrator, OOC is only to be expected. I haven't decided yet, so the Joker's identity is still Schrodinger's.

Premise: Surprises are everywhere in life.
