Mikazuki Munechika, the government's poster boy, is a sword tsukumogami who calls himself an old man and has countless Saniwa smitten with him, making them fall for him, go wild for him, and bang their heads against the wall for him. He is one of the Five Great Swords and is hailed as the most beautiful blade.

Legend tells of a wandering, corrupted Mikazuki Munechika, a big shot who controls everything behind the scenes, enjoys giving advice to corrupted swords, and never makes a miscalculation. Many dark Honmaru have fallen because of his schemes.

For that very reason, everyone is even more wary of the old man who sits beneath their eaves drinking tea and saying "hahaha" all day.

Mikazuki Munechika: Hahaha, I hear people outside are saying the old man is a hidden big shot. I'm happy to have my lord's approval, but this old man really isn't that kind of blade.

A certain Mikazuki Munechika, who single-handedly raised the mystery surrounding Mikazuki Munechika: Isn't being a big shot just a matter of having a brain?

The other incarnations: You over there, trying to outdo yourself, please shut up!

Anyway, we don't understand the world of big shots, and we understand the world of the big shots among big shots even less.

Higekiri, who has also been misunderstood: Um, there's no way I'd forget my little brother's name... Let's see, it's... Hizam... no, it's Heko-maru.

Hizamaru, looking expectant beside him, instantly turns into a sobbing mess: It's Hizamaru, Anija! Hizamaru... I'm not crying!

Mikazuki Munechika watches the farce with a genial smile as Higekiri's plan to dispel the rumor that he has a bad memory and can't remember names fails.

This is the story of a Mikazuki Munechika who, after failing to save the people dear to him, works hard to improve himself and become a big shot, only to choose a quiet retirement at the Honmaru in the end.

Probably?
