After Chang Huan died, she was bound to a System and transmigrated into different worlds as an insignificant, lowly passerby.
These passersby may have some pretty awful personalities, but they have few scenes and live long lives. Chang Huan is very satisfied with her new life. But why is she targeted by a lovesick man every time she enters a new world?
[World One: A heroine who bullies the weak and fears the strong, and a doting, lovesick hero]
Chang Huan is a dancer. After getting injured, she decides to hire a housekeeper.
Her neighbor volunteers for the job.
The neighbor is tall and handsome, with a cool and aloof air. He comes over every day to cook, do her laundry, and clean her home. He's exceptionally considerate and hardworking.
But Chang Huan notices that whenever she dances, she can feel a burning gaze on her. At first, she ignores it, thinking it's her imagination. Only when she sees the neighbor's adoring gaze outside her door does Chang Huan realize that someone really has been watching her.
[World Two: A silver-tongued heroine and a lovesick hero who loves to play the drama queen]
Chang Huan is a mermaid. Once she comes of age, she must marry and bond with a member of the human royal family before her sex can be determined. She wants to become a male mermaid, so her mother has the Crown Prince of the human empire brought to her.
To prevent a war between the mermaids and humans, Chang Huan grabs the prince's hand and tries to send him back to land. But she never expects him to start improvising at the slightest provocation, turning the encounter into a passionate tryst.
Chang Huan: "..." I'm really innocent.
[World Three: A heroine who says the opposite of what she means, and a willful, lovesick hero]
Chang Huan is a fox spirit who gained human form before the founding of the country, after spending decades cultivating it.
Then an evil god descends upon the world. To save it, Chang Huan joins a group heading to the sea to sacrifice herself and drive the evil god away.
But Chang Huan never expects that the moment she reaches the shore, a tremendous wave will rise up and sweep everyone into the sea. Everyone else is taken to the ocean floor, but she ends up in the evil god's arms.
All of the evil god's tentacles tightly embrace her. Ignoring her struggles, it takes just a few days to infect her body and make her its priestess. She cries and curses, but nothing can stop it.
After the ritual, her legs may be weak, but she earns the honor of gazing upon the evil god and surviving.
World Four: ...
Reader's Guide:
1. In each world, the heroine will put her feelings in order. She'll treat what happened in the previous world as if she were watching a movie.
2. The heroine is a passerby, so the original male and female leads won't get much screen time, and she won't interact much with them either.
3. Neither the heroine nor the hero is perfect. The hero falls in love with her at first sight, and that point is not up for debate.
Theme: Respecting others is respecting yourself.
