A Qing Dynasty Prince's Beloved Grandson Days

When the dinosaurs went extinct, a dinosaur egg traveled through time and transmigrated to the Qing Dynasty, becoming the legitimate second son of Fourth Master and his principal wife. He was named Hongzhao. Hongzhao was cheerful every day, and his only problem was that his Ama and E’niang were much too clingy.

In the eyes of outsiders, Fourth Master was stern, cold, and impossible to approach. Then one day, they caught sight of him strolling through the streets with Hongzhao in his arms and a gentle smile on his face. They were stunned. Was this really the cold-faced prince they knew?

Hongzhao asked curiously, “Who’s this cold-faced prince you’re talking about? Ama, do you know him?”

Fourth Master replied calmly, “No.”

Everyone: “…”

Fourth Master and his wife doted on him, and once they went out, Hongzhao discovered that even more people did too: his grandpa, Kangxi, and more than a dozen uncles.

Hongzhao’s eyes sparkled. He had so much family!

Kangxi adored the lively, adorable Hongzhao as soon as he met him. He held the boy and wouldn’t let go, and even wanted to bring him to the palace to raise him.

When Hongzhao was getting ready to sleep, Kangxi coaxed him, “Hongzhao, if you come live with Grandpa, I’ll teach you to read and study, and to ride, shoot, and fight with a bow…”

Hongzhao immediately woke right up and hid behind Fourth Master. Grandpa’s idea of fun was way too intense!
