My Pet Golden Shaded Cat Was Exposed by a Thief

In the age of declining magic, I'm a mountain god. To keep my many followers fed, I have to return to my old line of work. Then I discover that no one in this world believes in gods anymore. With no offerings to live on, I have no choice but to go down the mountain and find a job.

I take all kinds of acting gigs, and people mock me for being poor enough to starve to death. My reputation is terrible, until one day a thief breaks into my home, spots the tiger cub I'm raising, and gets livestreamed the whole time by paparazzi lying in wait.

You ask what a mountain god thinks of all this?

The mountain god himself: Thanks. Good thing you didn't expose the dragon in my bed, or I wouldn't be able to keep this act up.

Main character is the shou; the gong is that dragon.

An age of declining magic, a touch of mysticism, sweet romance, a little showbiz.

Theme: Working hard just to earn a living.
