The Poor Little Darling Runs Away While Pregnant

[New upcoming novel: My Runaway Betrothed Is a Tease. Please add it to your reading list!] 1. Jiang Qin is a canary kept in a wealthy household. He grew up by the young master's side, first as his study companion and later as his lover. Many people envy his position and how effortlessly he entered the wealthy world. But no one ever asked whether he wanted it. During the day, Jiang Qin has to stay by the young master's side, serving him tea and water. At night, the young master takes his frustrations out on him. Even when Jiang Qin cries until he can barely breathe, the young master won't let him go. He hates how hard the young master's kisses are. He hates how his refusals are ignored. He hates most of all that the young master treats him like a plaything. But like a dodder vine, he grew up clinging to the young master, and everything he has was given to him by the young master. Until one day, he discovers that the young master is considering a marriage alliance with someone else. 2. The housekeeper tells him, "That's perfectly normal in our circle." "You need to learn how to get along with the lady of the house." "Don't argue with her, don't get jealous or compete for his affections, and don't defy her. And absolutely don't..." Jiang Qin cuts her off. "Do I still have to sleep with the young master?" The housekeeper chokes and hesitates. "Of course." Jiang Qin thinks it over and decides it's terribly unfair. So he runs away. 3. After escaping, Jiang Qin unexpectedly discovers that there's a little one in his belly. He hides from place to place, clumsily learning how to raise a baby, controlling his pregnancy symptoms, and learning how to live again. Little does he know, the entire Shen family is turning the world upside down looking for him. [Little scene] The day the young master finds him, Jiang Qin is hiding his heavy belly while shopping for clothes for the unborn baby. He catches sight of a familiar figure in the distance, turns around, and bolts. "Jiang Qin!" The young master catches up and embraces him, eyes red. "You really... you really..." His hand touches the swell of Jiang Qin's belly. They both freeze. Jiang Qin calmly pulls his clothes down. "I've gained weight." #I was tormented so badly I couldn't sleep, but you just gained weight# #Wait, that looks like my kid# -- The young master once thought Jiang Qin was a bird in his hand, a cat or dog to amuse him, a doll he could dress up however he liked. It wasn't until the day Jiang Qin ran away that the young master realized Jiang Qin was none of those things. Jiang Qin was simply Jiang Qin. * A pampered, beautiful bottom x a mean, shameless top * Groveling pursuit of a spouse, old-school pregnancy-and-run My Runaway Betrothed Is a Tease A business marriage binds Su Yu and Xie Baidong together. Su Yu is an unloved outcast from a wealthy family. Xie Baidong is a favored son who has always had things go his way. No one could have imagined they would marry. On their wedding day, Xie Baidong boards a plane to study abroad, making it abundantly clear to everyone that he doesn't care about the marriage at all. -- After two years of studying abroad, Xie Baidong only remembers his hollow marriage as he prepares to return home. He plans to file for divorce as soon as he gets back and offer his partner some compensation, but at a banquet he runs into a beauty who's been drugged. The beauty's face is flushed, his eyes are moist, and he can't stop burrowing into Xie Baidong's arms. Straight-laced Xie Baidong pushes him away at once, the tips of his ears bright red. His expression is displeased. "Friend, I'm not into men." The beauty's eyes flicker. "You don't know who I am?" Xie Baidong thinks he's being too forward. "Should I know you?" The beauty curls his lip into a smile. "You shouldn't. Handsome, if you're not interested, I'll go with someone else." It isn't until later that Xie Baidong learns that the person he ran into that day was his spouse, Su Yu. -- Xie Baidong has been gone for two years, and everyone assumes Su Yu must be heartbroken and lonely at home. Who could have guessed that Su Yu has had one handsome confidant after another during those two years, and has lived an even more eventful life than Xie Baidong? [Little scene] Everyone thinks Su Yu has made Xie Baidong a cuckold, and that Xie Baidong will never let him off. But over a year after Xie Baidong returns, not only is Su Yu completely unharmed, Xie Baidong is nearly at his breaking point. He's just chased off yet another rival and is pacing anxiously beside Su Yu. "Who do you even like?" Su Yu's eyes sparkle. "Didn't you want a divorce? Why do you care?" Xie Baidong can't take it any longer and kisses him as if he wants to bite him. "We're not getting divorced," he says hoarsely. "I'd rather die."
