My Runaway Marriage Match Is a Flirt

A business marriage bound Su Yu and Xie Baidong together. Su Yu was an unwanted outcast from a wealthy family, while Xie Baidong was a favored son who had always had things go his way. No one could have imagined the two of them getting engaged. On the day of their engagement banquet, Xie Baidong boarded a plane to study abroad, making it perfectly clear to everyone that he was unhappy with the arrangement. After two years of further study overseas, Xie Baidong was finally heading home when he remembered his engagement, which was little more than a formality. He planned to break it off as soon as he got back and offer the other party some compensation. But at a banquet, he ran into a beautiful man who had been drugged. The man's face was flushed, his eyes moist, and he couldn't stop trying to burrow into Xie Baidong's arms. Straight as an arrow, Xie Baidong pushed him away on the spot, his ears bright red even as his expression turned displeased. "Hey, I don't like men." The beauty's eyes shifted. "You don't know who I am?" Xie Baidong thought he was being far too forward. "Should I know you?" The beauty smiled. "You shouldn't. Handsome, if you don't want to hook up, I'll go with someone else." Only later did Xie Baidong realize that the man he'd run into that day was his fiance, Su Yu. After Xie Baidong had been gone for two years, everyone assumed Su Yu must have been utterly humiliated. Who could have guessed that Su Yu had been surrounded by one handsome confidant after another, living a life even more colorful than Xie Baidong's? If Xie Baidong ever found out, Su Yu would be in trouble. [Bonus Scene] More than a year after Xie Baidong returned, Su Yu was still perfectly fine, while Xie Baidong was on the verge of losing it. He'd just driven off yet another rival and was pacing anxiously beside Su Yu. "Who do you actually like?" Su Yu's eyes glimmered. "Didn't you want to end our engagement? Why do you care?" Xie Baidong could take no more. He kissed Su Yu as if he meant to bite him. "I'm not ending it," he said through gritted teeth. "I'd rather die."
