Tempted Again

Three years ago, Wen Jing secretly dated Qi Zhenyan, heir to one of the country's wealthiest families, for three months.

After they broke up, Wen Jing would occasionally think of his almost impossibly perfect face, but she never considered getting back together.

Until her biological father and stepmother tried to force her into marriage. Wen Jing posted on Weibo, using a code only she and Qi Zhenyan knew.

That night, the man she hadn't spoken to in three years called her, his words dripping with scorn. "You think I'd still be waiting for you after all this time?"

At first, Wen Jing only wanted to bait Qi Zhenyan into helping her out of her predicament.

Later, when she tried to get out of it unscathed, she realized it was already too late.

On the day Wen Jing filmed a show with her rumored lover, the man flew for ten hours and appeared outside the hotel where she was staying.

"Wen Jing, since you dared to make a move on me a second time, you'd better be prepared to spend the rest of your life making it up to me."

.

After paparazzi photographed them holding hands, everyone thought the young master of the Qi family was only with Wen Jing for a bit of fun.

Qi Zhenyan made a public statement: "From beginning to end, she's the only one I want to marry."

Only then did everyone realize that the young master of the Qi family had been the one pining for someone he couldn't have all along.

-

Later, a reckless reporter asked Qi Zhenyan what he thought of Wen Jing's rumored relationships over the past few years.

His expression icy, Qi Zhenyan replied, "I never pay attention to rumors."

That night, as passion took hold, the man pressed her for an answer: "Wen Jing, tell me I'm the only one you've ever loved."

* Both leads have only been with each other. The female lead has dated other men.
