After I Die, I'm Most Afraid My Ex Will Be Doing Well

On the last day of her eighteenth year, Cen Zhaolu had a huge fight with her boyfriend, Ji Xunzhou, and stormed out in a rage.

As she left, she cursed Ji Xunzhou viciously in her heart: She hoped that after they broke up, he would have bad luck for the rest of his life.

Then an accident sent Cen Zhaolu six years into the future.

Her ex-boyfriend, whose major courses had all been barely passed and whose prospects had looked bleak after graduation, had somehow become a rising business star in Beicheng, a man who could turn the whole business world on its head.

.

The most infuriating thing after a breakup is seeing your ex's life get better and better.

Eighteen-year-old Cen Zhaolu couldn't agree more.

But six years after she had "died," her ex-boyfriend's life looked like one long dream come true.

Without another word, Cen Zhaolu marched into Ji Xunzhou's company and stopped the terrifyingly imposing man in his suit in front of all his bodyguards, demanding that he take responsibility for the six years she had disappeared.

The bodyguards looked tense, ready to throw the crazy woman out.

But then they saw Mr. Ji, who was usually utterly unflappable, suddenly change expression. He strode over to the woman and pulled her tightly into his arms.

Everyone exchanged bewildered looks.

The next second, Cen Zhaolu forcefully broke free of Ji Xunzhou's embrace and slapped him.

Everyone in Beicheng's social circles was saying that Ji Xunzhou, the golden bachelor who had turned down countless daughters of prominent families over the years, had fallen for a woman from an ordinary family with no connections.

And this ungrateful woman had rejected Mr. Ji again and again, even speaking cruelly to him.

This world had gone crazy.
