After Spreading a Rumor That My First Love Had Died

To avoid blind dates, Jiang Qin tells people she still can't forget her first love, who has passed away.

Whenever she adds a blind date on social media, Jiang Qin first tells him how deeply she loved her first love, then explains how her first love died of a terminal illness and how utterly heartbroken she was, and finally says that her first love will always be the one in her heart.

This trick has never failed to scare anyone off.

One day, her aunt introduces a new blind date. Apparently he's 187 centimeters tall, handsome, educated overseas, and the owner of a start-up company. He's such a catch that you'd need a lantern to find another one like him.

Jiang Qin scoffs: With credentials like that, why would he need a blind date? Is this some kind of scam?

She adds him and pulls the same trick, but he isn't fazed.

So Jiang Qin has to bring out the big guns:

"I dream about him every night, even after all these years."

"There's no one in the world who could ever compare to him."

"I'd be willing to die for him at any moment."

After laying it on thick, Jiang Qin is confident: What man could possibly put up with that?

Until he sends her a voice message.

"A Qin, I had no idea you loved me this much."

"Why don't we get married?"

#I've been telling everyone my first love is dead, but now he has come back and wants to marry me. What do I do?
