[History Livestream] Zhang San's Outlaw Livestream

At an ancient execution ground, the hour of noon arrives. The presiding official moves a finger, and a voice rings out from the sky: "Stay your blade!"

A sky screen slowly unfurls overhead.

A wondrous voice says, "Look across the history of law in ancient China, and all you see are modern-day outlaws like Zhang San, the rules governing women, filial piety, and the people versus officials... Even if Zhang San transmigrated back, he wouldn't survive one episode."

"The Little Stories of Outlaw Zhang San Transmigrating are now beginning!"

"Today, Zhang San transmigrated to a dynasty. He chose to cough twice, and died."

Zhang San: ...

What do the ancients see as they gaze up at the sky screen?

"Legal reform!" Some are fervent, while others are afraid.

"A legal code!" Their eyes shine brightly.

I'm not a specialist in the history of legal systems. I graduated years ago and don't work in this field now, so research will probably be difficult. If any experts in legal history would like to discuss things peacefully, peace and love.

Theme: Govern the country according to the law, and build the country through the law.
