I Save the World by Eating

After the apocalypse, Su Li found Yan Lie, covered in blood, in his vegetable garden.

When Yan Lie woke up, he insisted on repaying Su Li for saving his life.

Su Li tilted his head and thought it over. His big eyes were full of longing to eat his fill. "Just make sure I never go hungry."

Yan Lie gave a slight nod. "Easy."

Overjoyed, Su Li threw his arms around Yan Lie. "You're the best!"

Yan Lie remained expressionless and coolly pushed Su Li away. "It's nothing. Please behave yourself."

Only later did Yan Lie learn just how hard it was to keep Su Li fed.

At Base X, the missing chief commander returned with a beautiful young man by his side.

The boy was cute and delicate, and his big eyes were a delight to look at whenever he smiled.

But he was all looks and no substance. He had awakened only the most ordinary spatial ability, leaving him completely defenseless in the danger-ridden apocalypse. Being pretty wasn't much use, either.

Some said he relied on his looks to get by, was useless at everything, and mooched off others. He was always batting his big eyes at the commander and saying, "Yan Lie, I'm hungry," seducing their cool, celibate commander, who lived only to serve the people, into carrying on in broad daylight. He certainly knew how to get what he wanted.

Su Li felt terribly misunderstood.

He really was hungry.

Then one day, the base was on the verge of falling.

Just as everyone was giving up hope, the Su Li they had looked down on suddenly turned into a giant hamster.

Hamster Su Li took one huge bite and swallowed the entire base into his space.

Everyone: !!!

He ate a whole base that size?! This is the real world-ending boss, hiding in plain sight!

As everyone stared in terror, only Yan Lie remained calm. "Su Li's space is its own world and can hold living things. It's completely safe inside. Once we reach a new settlement, he'll let everyone out unharmed."

Su Li, who had seemed so useless, had become humanity's savior!

Those who had looked down on Su Li and called him affected and seductive all fell at his feet. "Please eat me!"

1. One-on-one romance, older seme and younger uke. A timid, adorable, big-eating mobile fortress of an uke, where the more you invest, the more you get back, paired with a seme who's calm and collected around others, incredibly powerful, impressive, and always ten steps ahead. After meeting the uke, he's either making a miscalculation or on his way to one.

2. The uke has hamster ancestry, and his space is a mutation of a hamster's cheek pouches. His space can be upgraded and has more than one function. He's cute and cuddly, but he can eat a lot; the more he eats, the stronger he becomes later on. He's a growth-type character. The seme is strong in every sense of the word. They're both hopelessly in love with each other, a perfect match!

3. Both the seme and uke have golden fingers, and they're huge. There probably won't be much political intrigue, since the author isn't very clever. If this kind of story isn't for you, feel free to drop it.

4. The story is mainly told from the uke's perspective, but both perspectives will appear. The author is a doting parent and a fan of the main couple. No breaking them up or reversing their roles, so please don't read if you're an extreme character loyalist. The author's writing is amateurish, so please go easy.

5. The apocalypse is fictional. Please don't associate it with the real world or any real country. The setting and everything else are fictional, too.
