[Blurb]
Matsuno Shion, who has just passed her one-hundred-year internship as a grim reaper, stares at the mountain of pending paperwork piled up to the ceiling and scratches her head.
The boss says she's been assigned to Tokyo, Japan, a place with an extremely high death rate. She's been on the job for less than a year, and she's already fed up with it.
"Hagiwara Kenji, stop only handling good-looking deceased people!"
"Morofushi Hiromitsu, there's no need to investigate the deceased's ancestry for eighteen generations. Just look at the cause of death!"
"And you, Matsuda Jinpei, stop blowing up the Grim Reaper General Council's doors! Repairs are expensive!"
Watching her assistants run around in utter chaos, Matsuno Shion swears that next time she'll hire an assistant who's competent, pleasant to talk to, perceptive, and easy to manage.
But can someone tell her why this man, whose real name is Furuya Rei and whose alias is Amuro Tooru, is so difficult to deal with? She'd rather work herself to death than hire an employee like him!
Oh, and she'd better not find out who's responsible for sending Japan's death rate soaring :). Once he or she dies, she'll make them work overtime for five hundred years!

[Occasional short chapters, pairing undecided. I'll mark it once that's settled.]
[This isn't a complete rescue of the police academy team. They really did die, after all, and have become the ultimate overworked laborers.]
[Happy ending. My writing is average, so please forgive me. This is my first book.]
If any characters are out of character, that's on me (bends over). Feel free to whip me!
