The Emperors and Generals Were Thrown into Chaos After Watching the Livestream

A bug in the Underworld Reincarnation System throws everything into disarray. The emperors and ministers who had been happily drinking tea in the underworld, watching history livestream in real time as they waited to be reincarnated, open their eyes to find themselves in strange places.

Instance One: Emperor Wu of Han becomes Zhao Gou

Qin Hui, standing beside him with his head bowed, says obsequiously, "Your Majesty, Yue Fei has achieved so much that he's become a threat to you, and he no longer even obeys your orders. Shall we summon him back with a golden warrant and have him stand trial?"

Liu Che looks up at the man before him. Oh? Is this the model for the most successful figurine in Chinese history, the one from the video about deep-fried Qin Hui?

Liu Che kicks Qin Hui away and declares, "Summon him back for what? Not only will I recover the Central Plains, I'll take back the Hetao region and open up the route to the Western Regions!"

Liu Che simply can't stand the pitifully small territory of the Southern Song.

He misses Zhongqing. He misses his Champion Marquis.

Fortunately, Yue Fei is a capable fighter too, and Xin Qiji is a huge fan of his own Champion Marquis. Quick, write more lyrics praising his Champion Marquis. He likes that!

Instance Two: Zhu Di becomes the unlucky Zhu Qiyu

After being reborn as Zhu Qiyu, he happens to learn that the Great Ming War God is about to personally lead an expedition.

Zhu Di: "Your great-grandfather has rebelled once, so he's experienced enough to do it again. I'll give you a proper lesson on behalf of that good-for-nothing sage grandson of his."

Then he leads the elite troops of the Ming straight into the northern desert, to Langjuxu Mountain.

The veteran generals are teary-eyed. Why does he look so much like their Prince of Yan?

Instance Three: Wei Qing becomes Di Qing

Wei Qing looks at the emperor before him, who solemnly explains that although he trusts his general, he really has no other choice.

Wei Qing: ???

Who does he think he's fooling? Does he really take him for some clueless idiot?

They all call him Qing, so why is this Qing so different from that Qing?

You Song people are so rich, so why won't you pay for the army? With the money you spend paying all those redundant officials, he could have fought his way to the Jin emperor's tent by now.

Wei Qing has another day of confusion and bewilderment.

But it's no big deal. Qing the workaholic isn't afraid of hardship. It's not the first time he's done the work of three people for one person's pay.

If all else fails, finding a new emperor to support isn't entirely out of the question.

Theme: Work hard to strengthen the country.
