Another April 1 had come.

A full year had passed since this reddish-brown planet had "stuck" itself to Earth.

Gu Yutang sat atop the tallest nearby cliff, gazing at the blue Earth in the distance.

With a casual flick of a tentacle-like vine, she pierced through a beast trying to circle around her. She wondered what had become of the people on Earth.

Had they resolved the mutation crisis brought by this planet, returning everything to normal? Or had the crisis wiped them out, turning them into nourishment for Earth's next civilization?

Either way, it seemed to have nothing to do with her anymore.

Given the extent of her mutation, even if she found a way back to Earth, she probably wouldn't be able to return to her old life.

Besides, her unspoken love was buried here. How could she leave on her own after coming here in his footsteps?

When Jiao Mingdu came to, he found himself running on all fours.

Hey, you know what? It's faster than running on two legs!

Wait, no. He couldn't remember a lot of things, but he seemed to recall that he used to be human, right? Humans are supposed to walk on two legs!

After waking up, this person, who seemed to have dementia, began wandering around aimlessly, challenging the mutated beasts on every hill and claiming their territory.

Then one day, a strange person showed up in his territory. A horde of mutated beast underlings, all of whom he'd beaten into submission before, swarmed the newcomer.

The person seemed to be a mutated plant, yet stubbornly maintained a human form. At that moment, he was punching one underling after another, thoroughly enjoying the fight.

When Jiao Mingdu saw his face, a name suddenly burst into his not-so-bright mind: Tangtang!

[Found him!]

With an excited roar, Jiao Mingdu charged straight at the fighter.

Far away, Gu Yutang heard the roar of a giant beast and saw a huge black panther charging down the hillside.

The panther was so fast that its running body was almost a blur.

"Great! Looks like a tough one. I won't be bored today."

Gu Yutang thrust a vine at the panther. Just as it was about to pierce the beast's head, the charging black panther managed to force out a single word.

"Tang!"

Gu Yutang was shocked! The branch was already on course to pierce its head, and it was too late to pull back. She could only quickly gather up its sharp parts and turn the softer side of the vine outward.

And so, the brain-piercing vine became a giant slap, smacking a certain charging black panther flying...

Ah! What a moving reunion, completed with one giant slap!
