The Aloof Master and His Pretend-Cool Brat

Bai Zhuo was naturally cold and distant.

So his friend advised him to get a pet to warm him up.

But Bai Zhuo had always preferred quiet and hated noise.

Later, he heard that cats were naturally aloof, and thought one might suit him.

So he spent several days at a stray cat center carefully choosing one. He picked a black cat that looked noble, cold, and utterly proud.

At last, on a sunny morning, the noble, aloof black cat stepped gracefully into its new home to inspect its territory.

At first, the black cat ignored Bai Zhuo.

Bai Zhuo: Ah, this is nice. Very good.

Later, the man and cat ignored each other.

Bai Zhuo: I'm very satisfied. Keep it up.

Until one day, a friend left a gentle golden retriever at Bai Zhuo's house.

It was obedient, quiet, and well-behaved. Bai Zhuo found it a novelty and took meticulous care of it.

The noble, aloof...

The black cat narrowed its vertical pupils, coldly watching the warm, harmonious scene between the man and the dog.

I really want to bite that stupid dog to death!

But...

Bai Zhuo was busy bathing the golden retriever when he yanked the tail of a certain brat, which was wrapped tightly around his wrist.

But the next second, he felt a slight sting on his cheek.

Bai Zhuo looked into his brat's vertical pupils, with their inexplicably complicated emotions. ???

A touch of annoyance crept into his cool eyes.

Did you take the wrong medicine today? What happened to acting aloof?!!

Black cat: It fell on the floor.

Bai Zhuo: Then pick it up and keep pretending.

Theme: Be yourself.
