Qin Xiao x You Bofei

A cold, old-school criminal investigation captain x a roguish, sharp-tongued private detective who's only pretending to be a playboy

Five women disappeared in the City of Ice, known as the "City of Sin," over the course of a month. None of the five had been found, dead or alive. Drawing on years of experience, Qin Xiao, captain of the City's criminal investigation team, was sure this was no ordinary missing-person case.

Qin Xiao went alone to a detached villa in the suburbs to look for clues about the disappearances. A shadow appeared like a ghost in the victim's room, and Qin Xiao immediately threw himself into a fight with it. In the darkness, he grabbed the "shadow" by the collar and pinned him hard against the wall. Taking advantage of the moment, the shadow used the move men feared most: the monkey steals the peach.

The lights came on, and Qin Xiao saw a familiar face.

Qin Xiao: "You?"

You Bofei smiled with a pair of flirtatious eyes, looking thoroughly punchable.

Qin Xiao pulled out his handcuffs with a cold expression.

You Bofei jangled his cuffed hands and raised an eyebrow. "Officer, what exactly is the meaning of this?"

Qin Xiao answered without mercy: "Assaulting an officer."

Seeing how serious he looked, You Bofei couldn't resist being a nuisance.

You Bofei: "We're old acquaintances. I only touched you a little. How does that count as assaulting an officer? If you say I sexually harassed an officer, then I can't argue with that."

Qin Xiao straightened his rumpled collar and unexpectedly said, "Fine, I'll grant your wish. I'll charge you with sexually harassing an officer."
