The Tale of Yaoguang

Blurb:

The Heir to the Prince of Zhennan, who commands fear across the northern frontier, has a strange obsession that everyone knows about but no one dares discuss: he's infatuated with monks.

They say that once, he spotted a handsome monk and chased him on horseback for ten streets.

They also say that once, a beautiful man shaved his head and offered himself to the heir, only to be killed with a single stroke of his blade.

Since then, everyone in the city with a shaved head has lived in fear.

Some fear losing their virtue, while others fear losing their lives.

Yao Ying touches the soft hair on her head, decides she's safe enough, and happily walks into the city with her bundle slung over her shoulder.

Who could have guessed that not long after entering the city, she'd be arrested by the Heir to the Prince of Zhennan on charges of witchcraft and sorcery...

And then, bickering lovers, a past romance rekindled... and face-slapping the arrogant tsundere.

1. The female lead only has an unusual background, not supernatural powers, so this is a historical romance.

2. No complicated romantic entanglements, just a sweet story about two people devoted to each other.

Theme: Look beyond appearances and don't judge people by how they look.
