I Transmigrated and Got Bound to a Teaching System (Imperial Exams)

Transmigrated with a Teaching System (Imperial Examinations)

Ji Chi transmigrated to ancient times, becoming an orphan who had been raised as a boy by her parents.

With all her immediate family gone, Ji Chi didn't want to reclaim her identity as a woman and couldn't find suitable work. Her biggest problem was figuring out how to survive.

After thinking it over, she decided to return to her old profession: teaching!

She discovered that she seemed to have bound herself to a Teaching System. Not only could she summon any knowledge she wanted whenever she needed it, she could also channel master teachers and explain many obscure, difficult concepts in simple terms!

But as her teaching went on, Ji Chi realized things seemed to be taking a troubling turn.

Student No. 1: Teacher, I think the policies the court makes these days are all show and no substance. You said before that reform is the only way to save the country. I'm going to make the court introduce new policies!

Student No. 2: Teacher, you said that only when all things compete and a hundred flowers bloom can there be true prosperity. The powerful clans monopolize most of the resources, leaving the common people with nothing to eat. That's the root cause of all the unrest. I swear I'll change things one day, so those hundred-year-old clans can no longer lie back and suck the people dry!

Student No. 3: Teacher, you said that political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. I think it would be better to just replace the emperor. What do you think?

Seeing how fired up her students were, Ji Chi swallowed and asked, "Could you not do the things you just mentioned?"

The several students, who were always secretly competing, shook their heads in unison with perfect understanding. "No."

Ji Chi: "Then can you promise me one thing?"

"A hundred things," they replied together again.

Ji Chi: "If you go out and cause trouble, please don't ever say you're my students."
