Aili is an ordinary high school student at Oslo High. Life often seems dull and uneventful to her, until one day, three families suddenly move into town.
A handsome boy with blond hair and blue eyes smiles warmly at her, and Aili feels like she can barely breathe.
A beautiful, radiant girl sits in the garden and politely asks her, "Would you like to have tea together?"
Aili is thrilled. She's about to make a friend who is so pretty and adorable!
A little girl with two pigtails tied up like horns peeks shyly at Aili from behind her father's back, her big, round eyes blinking. Beside her, her gentle mother lovingly strokes the little girl's head.
Aili: Oh, what a loving family.
Aili strolls happily down the street. The three new families in town are simply wonderful. She has to hurry to school and tell everyone the good news.
Behind her, out of sight,
The handsome boy suddenly bulks up, his muscles bursting through his clothes. "Anyone who wants to take my sweetheart from me can first see if they're tough enough."
The beautiful, ladylike girl turns red-eyed. She smiles, revealing two tiny fangs. "You're a werewolf, not a dog. Please stop acting like some low-intelligence creature."
The adorable little girl with two pigtails swats the hand away from her head and says in a gruff voice, "Why are you making such a fuss? Do you want those Muggles to find us or something?"
Everyone shrugs and heads back inside. The small town returns to its peaceful, quiet ways.
A shocking piece of news has recently spread across the magical continent of Yafusen: the legendary Sword of Tia, one of the Ten Great Magical Treasures, has appeared!
The Detection Mirror shows that the Sword of Tia's aura is coming from an unknown Muggle town.
The United Disciplinary Committee's laws are absolute: Muggles must never learn that the magical continent exists, and they must never be harmed.
So a few magic lords who heard the news first disguise themselves as Muggles and set out to seize the treasure. Wizards who hear about it later rush toward the town from every direction.
The peaceful town of Oslo is about to be thrown into chaos.
Tips: Some of the setting is inspired by Harry Potter, vampires, and werewolves, along with lots of original worldbuilding.
The female lead is the vampire mentioned in the blurb. The male lead isn't in the blurb, but he is in the title: "that damned Muggle."
