I Made a Decision That Betrayed My Ancestors

After traveling to the end of the Song dynasty, Fu Kang'an went from a general who had faced countless battles to a mere civil official.

He wanted to find a new job and put his expertise to use, but his opponents were his own ancestors.

Well, he could settle in one corner of the realm and use his wits to build a life for himself.

But just as things were getting on track, the enemy attacked.

With no choice, Fu Kang'an donned his armor and took the field...

I've made a decision that goes against my ancestors!

I'm going to wipe them out!

In the first year of Jingkang, the Jin launched a southern invasion with armies advancing from both east and west.

When the Jin army reached Daming Prefecture, Duke Du led the troops to meet the enemy outside the city gates.

Later, he led the army north...

When they won a battle, the other generals were so thrilled they drank and celebrated wildly.

Fu Kang'an drank to drown his sorrows, sighing and lamenting as tears streamed down his face.

When the other generals advanced another inch and reclaimed a city, they were over the moon.

Fu Kang'an got drunk and danced with his sword, writing page after page of absurdity in wild calligraphy.

When they reached the Jin homeland, nestled among the White Mountains and Black Waters, the generals went wild!

Fu Kang'an stared at the portrait of his ancestor in the capital, Shangjing. I'm about to lose it too.

Liu Bei: I'm afraid I'm no great talent. I traveled to the Qin dynasty and accidentally changed history so much that the Han dynasty never came to be.

Fu Kang'an: It's all right. At least Liu Bang can still enjoy himself flirting in Sishui Pavilion. Unlike me...

Liu Bei: Brother?

Fu Kang'an: I traveled to the end of the Northern Song and took down my ancestors' homeland.

Reader's Notes:

1. Inspired by a conversation with a friend.

2. This should be a multi-world transmigration story with multiple male leads. For now, there are these two; I'll add the others later.

3. I'll add more if I think of anything else.
