From Maid to Billionaire [Ancient to Modern]

Blurb One:

Xie Wan spent her whole life being careful and calculating. She knew medicine, excelled at cooking, and mastered the eight elegant arts. She rose from palace maid to the highest-ranking female official, but before she could settle into her position, she was caught up in the palace's power struggles and died young.

When Xie Wan woke up again, she was a thousand years in the future.

It seemed to be a fair and free world, but as the daughter of a wealthy family's housekeeper, she discovered that its rules were just a new coat of paint over the same old law of the jungle.

Fortunately, in this life, she might not be able to become emperor, but she could become the richest person in the country and never again be controlled by men.

Blurb Two:

Everyone in Qinzhou knows the gossip: Xie Wan, now the richest person in Jiuzhou, used to be the daughter of a housekeeper for the prominent Rong family. She was the cause of the Rong brothers turning against each other.

Besides that, rumor has it that her seed funding came from a breakup payment from her first love, and her patented technology from her ex-husband...

So, on the day Xie's Household Products went public, an insistent reporter tried to put Xie Wan on the spot in an interview. "There are rumors that you went from a working-class background to becoming the richest person in Jiuzhou by relying on men to get ahead. How do you respond to that?"

Xie Wan smiled sweetly, not bothering to dodge the question. "Maybe I did. I hope the young masters won't fall too hard for me."
