The Notebook Monster

Xiao Tong found a notebook.

There was a monster inside it.

The monster was a great beauty who climbed into her bed every night to suck away her yang energy.

Xiao Tong just couldn't take it anymore. Dark circles under her eyes, she begged the beauty to spare her. The beauty propped her chin on one hand and cracked sunflower seeds. "You copied my story and posted it online. Who else should I punish?"

Much later, the beauty cracked her sunflower seeds in annoyance. "Forget it. Better you copy it than someone else. Just make it good."

Xiao Tong wrote countless stories for the monster, never knowing that one day she would never see her again. From then on, she would only hug the notebook, longing to hear the monster scold her a few more times.

Who knows how many years later, Xiao Tong, now a renowned young author, met a genius girl from the literary world. At a scene crackling with hostility, the girl glared at her furiously. Xiao Tong merely smiled warmly, stroked the girl's cheek, and asked fondly, "What do you want to write? I'll let you write it. Why get angry?"
