Cynthia Hamer, a Jujutsu Sorcerer who claims to be perfectly ordinary, longs for a peaceful night's sleep. To achieve it, she goes to extraordinary lengths, including but not limited to putting on secret identities to harass the vigilantes in Gotham, eagerly watching Lex Luthor and Superman's love-hate relationship, staying up all night fooling around with a certain tin can, bullying the honest and straightforward Luo Dashun, shattering the worldview of Britain's famous consulting detective, bringing her classmates to Gotham to hunt rare cursed spirits, and repeatedly writing fanfiction insisting that BatBruce is real, only to be met with disapproving looks.
Doctor could be called a real oddity among superheroes. To start with, she doesn't have a fixed city of her own. You might spot her in New York, Metropolis, Central City, or Coast City during the day. At night, she's usually in Gotham with Red Hood or some other vigilante. Of course, you might also find her in Queens with Spider-Man, or even among the Mutants. None of that is much of a problem. At most, people just argue over which side Doctor belongs to. But most importantly, she's a proud mom fan, and a mom fan of Gotham's vigilantes, at that. Here's a joke: a young superhero who looks like she's not even twenty says she's a mom fan of the "weak and pitiful" and "unarmed" Red Hood.
People from other regions: But does that really matter?
Gotham residents: Have you heard yourself? Weak and pitiful? Is that how you'd describe Red Hood?
Cynthia, aka Doctor: Don't say that. I'm a mom fan of the entire Batfamily, too. My poor little dark princess, how could you say such things about him?
Everyone in the world: No, maybe take another look at that frowning, hard-hitting Bat before you say that.
"Poor little dark princess": Batman's disapproving look JPG.
Cynthia: Hehe?
Warnings and the author's ramblings:
This is an atypical all-characters romance, featuring all kinds of messy relationships, with romance not as the main focus. There is an original female protagonist, whose story is divided into four stages: p1, p2, n1, and n2. The n1 stage is the main storyline, with plenty of details from her past life filling in the gaps. The early focus is on DC and Marvel, with little Jujutsu content, but major Jujutsu Kaisen events will appear later.
The protagonist's personality in the n1 stage is complex. If you think she feels disjointed and erratic, then you've got it right (her state of mind depends a lot on the author's mental state). All characters and events are there to move the plot forward, with the main goal of heading together toward a happy ending!
The author's writing and storytelling are both terrible, but my love for the characters is real. The first thirty or so chapters were written in high school (most during senior year), so things may be repeated a lot at times, and the writing can be rather jumpy. The college entrance exams are over, and I'm updating now. I'll do my best to finish the n1 story as soon as possible!
I'll mark which plot threads are covered in each chapter in the table of contents! (Slowly adding them.)
Theme: Getting a good night's sleep
Wuwuwuwuwu, why is there no one? Come on, madam (Holding a rose)
This is a bat that will give children candy!
I saw your new chapter pending review. Hi, we meet again.
Ah ah ah ah daddy ah ah ah 😍 😍 😍
It's rare to update (I'm happy), I've completely forgotten about it (it's a pity)
I haven't read five chapters and can't continue. I want to go back and start from the beginning if there are more chapters. Come on!
I've been quite busy lately, so I have to wait until the exam is finished in early December before I have time to update.
Damn it, tell me something! (Rolling) I won't update until I see new comments!!
The author has a few days off for the National Day, will there be any updates? Was Cynthia using her real appearance during this period?
Yes, identity memes are always fun in plots
