Livestreaming a Countdown of Ancient Badasses

This story will go premium on April 5.

[Important: This story is set in a parallel timeline. I'm not an expert in the relevant fields, so it may contain misleading ideas that even I don't know about. If you spot any, please tell me. If I can fix them, I will; otherwise, I'll add a note to the final page of the author's comments.

One last important note: Due to my studies, I can't promise daily updates. At most, I'll update every other day, and the schedule is uncertain. I'll post when I finish writing. If I have chapters saved up, I'll update at noon or 6 p.m. Everyone works hard for their money.

It's finished, but due to problems with my real-life job, the ending is a bit rushed. I've added an extra chapter about the heroine's life afterward. Enter at your own risk.]

Li Le was an ordinary history-themed comedy video creator. Her specialty was making comedic videos about Sima Yi and Zhuge Liang, earning just enough to get by. One day, after her usual poll, her fans asked her to make a video profiling some seriously ruthless historical figures. By accident, she was chosen by Them and sent into different dynasties.

[In 210 BC, the First Emperor died of illness while on an eastern tour. To protect their own interests, Zhao Gao and Li Si concealed his death, hiding the smell of his corpse with “dried fish” in the carriage. They forged his edict and installed Huhai as the Second Emperor of Qin. After taking the throne, Huhai immediately forced Fusu to commit suicide and killed more than twenty of his brothers and sisters. He ruled tyrannically... Eventually, the Qin Dynasty fell under the Second Emperor.]

Qin Shi Huang: ???? I die and get hidden among “dried fish,” and then the Qin Dynasty falls under the Second Emperor. My eternal legacy is gone. My fists are clenched, my fists are clenched. Someone drag Huhai in here!

[By the way, beware of fraud by ancient alchemists and don't take too many elixirs if you want to live longer!!!!! You'd be better off doing a set of radio calisthenics than taking all those pills. Listen up: Seven-Colored Sunshine, ready!]

Netizens: Calling out Qin Shi Huang, Liu Zhuzhu, and Er Feng

Emperor Wu of Han: Does Liu Zhuzhu mean me? Excellent, I knew I was the true Son of Heaven. Even the immortals acknowledge it. But that alchemist really deserves to die for deceiving me. Guards! Execute the alchemist, and write down the exercises the immortal mentioned. Starting today, I shall practice every day.

[Seven-Colored Sunshine, ready. One, two, three, four, two, two, three, four...]

Emperor Wu of Han marches in place: One, two, three, four, two, two, three, four. Stretching exercises.

Emperor Shizong of Ming: Quickly, write down the words of the immortal. Starting today, I shall take the celestial immortal as my master and study every day.

Them: Sorry, I don't need a disciple like you. Get lost.

[Ancient people had no way to guard against scams, so scammers made a fortune while shedding tears.]

[Just how lucky is the old Liu family?]

[Son of Heaven vs. transmigrator]

[Need help cheating? I'll help you.]

[It's so hard to reduce the power of the feudal lords. What is the Favoring Edict? I can't see it.]

Content warnings

First: The heroine will have no interactions with people from the past. She's simply a tool for explaining things.

Second: There is a real god in the story, but they're a lazy sort who just likes to have fun and basically don't get involved in anything. They thought the heroine's videos were entertaining, so they casually sent her out. By accident, they received some faith points that weren't much use to them, so they asked the heroine what to do with them. In the end, they got the answer and put on divine displays.

The timelines in the different planes do not affect one another. If something changes in A, only A's own timeline changes. B's remains the same.

Third: This is not a serious historical story. It's mainly for laughs and fun. The ruthless figures in it are ruthless in both positive and negative senses. Chinese culture is vast and profound, and anyone who knows Phantom Troupe will understand.

Fourth: Since the heroine is a modern person, the story may touch on aspects of modern life. It's called a romance, but I may not have decided on a male lead yet, and there might not be one in the end.

Fifth: I'm an amateur writer with poor prose. I'm learning history as I write, and historical fiction will inevitably reflect the author's views. My views may be biased and are 99% likely to be wrong, so don't take anything in the story as fact.

Sixth: It's finished, but the ending is very rushed and can be considered a poor ending. Read with caution.

For serious history, read historical records. This is just me letting loose and writing something I personally wanted to read. It's not meant to be taken too seriously. If you spot any mistakes, please point them out. Thank you very much.
