Lighthearted version:

Rosemary is a transmigrator.

Looking back over all of the above, and combining it with the memories that occasionally flash through Rosemary's mind since she transmigrated...

Rosemary is certain that she transmigrated to another world's Gotham, and that her partner is another world's Batman.

After all, look: her partner has never appeared alongside Batman, and Batman has never denied that her partner isn't Batman.

That evidence is simply... ironclad!

Rosemary resolves to become an excellent Robin/Alfred/Gordon, the kind who makes Commissioner Gordon's heart skip a beat!

Rosemary.

In return, I gave him a name too.

Bruce.

He said, “We'll stay by each other's side for a long, long time and save this planet together.”

I wholeheartedly agreed, and diligently took care of logistics.

Then, just as life was flourishing on our planet, we'd taken charge of the surrounding planets, and we were getting ready to retire...

His dad suddenly showed up, an Emperor planning to conquer the galaxy, along with twenty brothers.

His dad even told us to follow him and conquer the galaxy, and threw in tens of thousands of sons, each bigger than them.

Rosemary: “...?”

Retirement postponed indefinitely.

Life really is a pain, and the world is a shambles.

1. A two-person show between Star Batman and Rosemary. There probably won't be much outer space.

2. This is a practice piece. I've only read the HH trilogy, the primarchs' biographies, and the novels related to Midnight...

I'm still catching up on the rest. This is such a huge rabbit hole, there's no way I can finish! (GW keeps changing the lore, so some contradictions in the stories about the primarchs will be handled by choosing whatever fits the plot. I'm writing this while catching up, so there may be loopholes and bugs.)

3. A regular Mary Sue story, a regular Mary Sue story, not an orthodox Thor-and-Loki-style story. The plot is completely original, and it'll probably end once the protagonists fall in love and get together... I think.

There might not be much after that. I'll see how far I get with my reading and how much I can write. Everyone knows what Thor is like, there are cups all over the coffee table...

4. Neither the male nor the female lead is normal. The original story's setting is quite dark, so readers who don't handle heavy material well should take care. Though I don't think my writing is especially dark.

He figured a free game was a free game, so he happily started playing.

First playthrough.

He came from Nostramo, one of the scumbag recruits sent by Nostramo's terrible government to the Night Lords. But he worked hard and quickly won his superior's favor. His workload doubled, and he kept getting promoted and receiving raises.

But in the end, his superior discovered that he'd been secretly stirring up trouble, and he got a death CG.

Second playthrough.

He was a genius who got perfect marks at military school, and successfully entered the best unit, joining the Luna Wolves. He worked himself to the bone, hoping to become his superior's most trusted subordinate. But his superior met with an unfortunate end, and while trying to save him, a colleague took out his kidney. He got a death CG.

Third playthrough.

After getting death CGs twice in a row, the player decided not to work himself too hard. He resolved to slack off, slack off, and slack off some more. After entering the Thousand Sons with Prospero as his fallback, he became the kind of troublemaker his legion brothers and superior both loved and hated.

They “loved” his talent and hated his lack of discipline and empty head.

Fortunately, the player didn't care what they thought. He'd decided to lie back and coast all the way through.

And the fate of coasting all the way through was...

Turning into sand, hehe!

Another death CG. The player was furious!

He refused to believe that, as a player, he couldn't get a survival ending.
