Life Is a Wilderness, So Whatever!

Chen Xi is incredibly unlucky. For more than twenty years, her life has been the kind where even a drink of cold water makes you choke. She drops money while walking down the street, and her instant noodles never come with a seasoning packet...

One day, she was struck by something thrown from above while walking down the street. Her head split open, and after being rushed to the hospital, she woke up to a world completely turned upside down. In short:

Had her life turned into a game?

Every day, there were login tasks and trigger tasks.

The tasks were all random, with rewards but no penalties, so in theory, she could do them or not.

But after waking up, Chen Xi was repeatedly hit by misfortune. When she checked her status screen, her luck stat had already dropped below zero, and the note beside it read things like, “You could choke to death while eating” and “You'll be a penniless loser forever.”

To make sure she could enjoy a normal, well-fed, comfortable life, Chen Xi's daily routine became this:

Today she was a model citizen in the city, providing the police with leads. Tomorrow she was spreading feudal superstition online (livestreaming fortune-telling). The day after, she was a passerby playing hero on the street (Kamen Rider). The day after that, she was setting up a stall by the roadside...

All these endeavors proved unexpectedly successful. By the time Chen Xi's luck returned to normal, she had accumulated so many identities that there was no room for them all in her home: legendary passerby, mysterious master, rider who wandered onto the wrong set, celebrated chef, and more.
