[Synopsis]
To find his missing childhood friend, Yu Zhou enrolls at G University, the school he attended.
G University has long been home to a number of strange legends:
They say Dorm 403 is cursed, and everyone who moves in suffers misfortune.
Holding the key he has just received, Yu Zhou stands in front of Room 403, lost in thought.
They say you shouldn’t mess with the campus cats, because they might not really be cats.
While showering in the bathroom, Yu Zhou turns around and sees a white-and-gray cat on the windowsill, winking and making faces at him...
They say you shouldn’t look in the mirror at midnight, or you’ll see something you’ll never forget.
Yu Zhou gets up to use the bathroom and finds himself face-to-face with a red-clad female ghost holding an umbrella in the full-length mirror by the door.
The legends are true. Strange things keep happening as soon as he sets foot on campus.
A last subway train full of hellish scenes and man-eating passengers, a cat behaving strangely on campus, a wall of roses that appears at precisely the same time every morning...
All the chaos begins when Dorm 403 receives a bizarre full-length mirror. It can’t be smashed, thrown away, or given away...
After acquiring this monster, life in Dorm 403 changes beyond recognition:
While other students rush to their eight o’clock classes, everyone in 403 is out at sunrise scraping meat paste off the market floor and picking up masks. While other students rack up credits, everyone in 403 makes people vanish onstage. While other students work on their GPAs, everyone in 403 takes part in a ritual to worship a snake demon in an ancient, mysterious village...
Seven people with wildly different personalities come together in Dorm 403 and begin their escape through the world inside the mirror. Is all this absurdity an accident, or is someone behind it? With each of them harboring their own motives, can they see through the conspiracy and find their way to the same destination?
A chorus of ghosts wails. Blood and flesh fly everywhere. A giant umbrella opens, cutting through everything as light and shadow flash into view.
Yu Zhou screams amid the chaos, “Who are you, really?”
“Me?”
The voice is scornful.
“I’m the top student in your year.”
