Is Young Master Wen Having a Bad Day Again?

[230,000+ words, complete and fully drafted]

Blurb:

Wen Yinxiao has been having a run of terrible luck lately, enough to last eight lifetimes. It's all because he got hold of a strange jade pendant that he can't throw away or get rid of.

Because of this pendant, he's repeatedly attacked by all kinds of strange and eerie creatures, and gets dragged into a world completely unlike reality.

The good news is, some charlatan whose number mysteriously appeared in his contacts actually knows what he's doing, and has rescued him from danger again and again.

The bad news is, the charlatan is a swindler, coveting Wen Yinxiao's wallet from every angle, and his tongue is so poisonous one lick could kill you.

But later, when Wen Yinxiao really does lick it, he discovers it's not quite like that. It even... tastes pretty good?

One-on-one, both leads' first relationship, happy ending

Potentially off-putting points:

1. The leads have a dynamic of their own, so this may not suit readers who are extremely protective of one character.

2. Neither lead is perfect. If you dislike something about them, please don't force yourself to keep reading.

3. A small amount of side-couple content

4. This isn't a power fantasy or a purely sweet romance

Theme: Don't go around adding men whose names begin with A
