A Day in the Life of a Proxy God

At eighteen, Li Qian learned that she was an orphan who had been switched at birth.

She had been born with a disability and could see out of only one eye. Her adoptive parents had suffered greatly trying to get her treatment.

So when their healthy, beautiful biological daughter returned, the family of three embraced and wept.

As an adult outsider, Li Qian moved into the old house her grandmother had left behind, all by herself.

Unexpectedly, on her very first day there, her left eye, blind for eighteen years, suddenly began to see.

She saw a little old man lying in the rocking chair where her grandmother had sat before she died, surrounded by a dozen or so strange little creatures, all crying nonstop.

"This is terrible! Grandpa God is so old!"

"Is he going to leave us?"

"Will we become little monsters without a god watching over us?"

"Boohoo, I don't want to be a little monster wandering all alone!"

Suddenly, they noticed Li Qian watching them and began whispering as they wiped away their tears.

"Huh? S-she can see us?"

"Oh my goodness... She really can see us!"

"She's a human with the Eye of the Gods!"

So the little monsters joined hands, or tugged on one another's ears, and carefully approached her.

"Um, excuse us... Would you be willing to become our god?"

★ The protagonist has no romantic pairing. A heartwarming, healing story.
