After waking up in a hospital bed, An Shu's life began changing in strange ways. First, her newly created game account was bound to a character called the Wanderer, who then started refusing to obey her.
Whenever she switched to another character and then back, he would get angry, sometimes even acting completely out of control. When she took him online to fight monsters, he was so overpowered that the screen filled with damage numbers, and she was nearly reported. When she got stuck on a quest, he even mocked her.
An Shu: "I've decided to pull two gods to keep an eye on him."
Raiden Shogun: -_-
Nahida: ^_^
Later, when the Wanderer had a rerun, An Shu originally planned to pull on another banner. But the wish screen wouldn't respond, and one ten-pull gave her three five-stars.
Right after that, she discovered that three boys from different periods had begun appearing in her home.
One was a long-haired, pale Scaramouche, staring at her in confusion and asking cautiously where he was.
One was a dark Scaramouche wearing a Harbinger's outfit, frowning and clearly unhappy even as he said, "How interesting."
And one was the Wanderer in blue, looking at her with a faint, knowing smile.
Oh, and there was also a little purple cat.
An Shu: "..."
One day
A colleague who was working on a mission with her found out she'd taken sick leave and came to visit. The door was opened by a boy who looked both familiar and unfamiliar.
"She's not available today. Come back another time."
The colleague opened their phone and stared thoughtfully at their game screen. Was this actually a documentary game?
P.S. The heroine's world is fictional, with a paranormal atmosphere, and she has a special occupation.
This will probably be a parallel world to my previous novel.
