[Football] Face-Blind and Trapped in a Love Triangle Every Day

[Planned to start around the next World Cup]

Blurb:

Liam Kahn is a second-generation footballer, blond and blue-eyed, with the perfectly handsome face of a cool beauty. His father is Kahn, the famous Lion King of the previous generation of the German national team.

Unlike the many second-generation players who turned out ordinary, he showed incredible talent from a young age, at one point setting a world record by keeping a clean sheet in 53 consecutive matches.

Fans: Now that's a real little Lion King!

Bayern and Germany fans: Great! Just what we need, someone with a temper to whip the locker room into shape! The legacy of our dual captain lives on!

But Liam's personality is nothing like his father's, and he has a very troublesome condition: congenital prosopagnosia.

More commonly known as face blindness.

When he looks at people, he can only tell whether they're men or women, tall or short, fat or thin. If two people have similar builds and dress in a similar style, he can't tell them apart unless they speak.

For a player, it's enough to recognize your teammates' numbers on the pitch.

You don't win matches by recognizing faces, right?

But that's only on the pitch.

Off the pitch...

The locker room is like an escape room. He can't leave until he's called all his teammates by name.

“Hey, Liam! Guess who I am!”

“What about me? I was the one who helped you deal with that dangerous ball yesterday.”

“Get my name wrong again and I'll train you until you cry!”

A staff member watches Liam being teased at the doorway by the entire team of naked men, wearing nothing but towels, and gives him a knowing smile.

Teammates: :)

Liam: _(:з"∠)_

Later, things start to get weird.

In the shower, a teammate who calls himself A grabs Liam by the head and kisses him. But when Liam walks out, he hears the head coach talking to A about something.

Liam makes plans to see a movie with B. Halfway through, he gets a text from B complaining that someone is blocking his garage and he might be late.

Liam goes to a party with C. When they leave, he suddenly realizes he's holding hands with two Cs.

And every one of them claims the reason their voice sounds different is that they shouted themselves hoarse during the match.

Liam: ...

Liam: I was going to be a good person, but you all made me do this!

Oh my God!

Things are getting interesting.

[Little Liam can't stand his dad, so he doesn't want to go to Bayern. He may start from the start at Dortmund or Leverkusen, and only agree to join Bayern later, after hearing his dad lost the internal power struggle and was fired by the club.]

[Romance is the focus, with little match content.]

[Keywords: everyone is drawn to him, male protagonist in the receiving role, love rivalry]

[Note that Liam is ambitious, likes to talk big, and is a bit of a coward. He's a pretty little troublemaker who uses his looks to get away with things.]

Theme: Break through your limitations and shape your future
