"Ah! Why don't I have a partner?!"

"I have an opportunity for you. If you transmigrate into a book, there'll be all kinds of handsome men and beautiful women: ethereal and otherworldly, seductive and alluring, sweet and innocent, dignified and graceful. You can find anyone you like."

"I can choose anyone I want as my partner?"

"Deal!"

A deal was made, and Wang Zhou went smack into the world, transmigrating as King Zhou of Shang from Investiture of the Gods.

The first thing he did after opening his eyes was head to Nuwa Palace to offer incense.
