The second came when he met Yang Jun again. This time, he deliberately stepped beneath her umbrella and walked toward the future that belonged to them.

Xie Xun stayed up all night twice in his life. The first time, he realized his true feelings and rushed out in the middle of the night to "search" the entire city for red ribbons, turning the incident into a sweet romantic tale.

The second time, he stood by the window, gazing into the pitch-black night and thinking about many things. In the end, he decided to walk forward alone. Though the road ahead was covered in thorns, he still set out in his finest clothes.

The streets were crowded, and Yang Jun was afraid Xie Xun might get lost if he walked behind her. She secretly bought a red ribbon, tied it to her wrist, and fastened the other end to his.

Xie Xun frowned. "What are you doing, Sister?" Yet his fingers absently rubbed the red ribbon.

Yang Jun said, "I'm afraid you'll get lost."

But she couldn't stop thinking that it looked like a child safety leash.

Unbeknownst to her, the man's lips curved slightly, stirring ripples in his heart.

So Sister is in love with me.

Reason for entering: It tells of Xie Xun's journey from an illiterate, selfish beggar to a selfless "treacherous minister" who faces death without hesitation. He always believed that his talents must be useful, and with his own strength he stood against the powerful and the court officials, protecting the lives of the people and leaving an astonishing mark in the history books.
