[Title explanation: A front-running strategy is a way of racing in which a horse sprints at full power from the starting gate. It's a simple, forceful tactic and extremely exciting to watch.]

#A refined heiress who raises horses x a Chinese-British jockey
Bai Sangci is the youngest director at Dongtang Group. All lazy, delicate beauty, she's like a white rose that has become a spirit. But people in their circle know that Miss Bai, for all her refined grace, isn't as gentle and soft as she appears.
Because she's a famous owner of thoroughbreds in the international horse racing world.
Her greatest passion... is taming spirited horses.
To help her beloved horse become a G1 Triple Crown champion, she paid a fortune to hire jockey Wen Mo.
Wen Mo is a Chinese-British champion jockey. With night-black hair and starry blue eyes, he's aloof and restrained, like the moon god himself stepped out of a myth.
Outsiders all thought they had an ordinary employer-employee relationship.
What no one knew was that three years earlier, in an old castle on the outskirts of England, Wen Mo had torn off his chaste facade and tried to tame Bai Sangci beneath him.
-
At the Satsuki Sho, Wen Mo used a front-running strategy, riding Bai Sangci's black horse, Dongbai Xinxiuyi, to lead the whole way. He was like a black bullet that no one at Nakayama Racecourse could catch.
That evening, Bai Sangci opened a bottle of fine wine she'd been saving to celebrate his victory. "You worked hard in the race today. Finish your drink and get some rest. I'm going home."
Wen Mo, fresh from his shower, hugged her from behind. His thin lips were damp as he nuzzled her earlobe, his long fingers gripping the belt of her robe as if taking up a horse's reins.
"Sangci, I didn't come all the way from England just to ride your horse."
#In Bai Sangci's eyes, Wen Mo is the wild horse she most wants to tame.
#As it happens, Wen Mo thinks the same.
[Bonus Scene]
After the Kikuka Sho, reporters gathered outside the hotel where Wen Mo was staying.
When the man appeared in the hotel lobby, the reporters rushed forward, competing to ask, "Mr. Wen, you once said you didn't want to compete in athletic events anymore. Why have you decided to compete again this time?"
Wen Mo unconsciously touched the kiss mark on his neck, the brand Bai Sangci had left on him. Thinking of the woman he'd spent the previous night entwined with, he smiled.
"Because Boss Bai is paying far too much."
