The Zerg: That Male Is Kind of a Scumbag

Fogg doesn't steal ore. He's just an energy transporter, saving every penny so he can visit the insect of his dreams on Riu Star.

Then the male insect who moves in next door throws all his plans into disarray.

This male insect seems to have poor manners. He keeps borrowing things from Fogg and never returns them.

At first it's just a little salt. Later, it's the ticket book Fogg has been saving up. Eventually, with nothing left to lend, Fogg decides to wrap himself up and "lend" himself over.

The male insect has an egg, and Fogg discovers he doesn't mind becoming its stepfather.

But that male insect is still a real jerk. To be specific:

The egg's female father is, according to the male insect, alive and well one moment, then long dead the next.

How did he die?

The "jerk insect": He was stupid enough to die.
