The Empress's Nightmare

The night before her coronation, Ji Mingqi had a nightmare.

In the dream, her childhood sweetheart and husband, Pei Yu, suddenly fell off his horse. When he woke up, he had become someone completely unrecognizable, raving about some System, missions, and usurping the throne.

After that, Mingqi never again let Pei Yu ride into battle and lead the troops.

Until one morning, she blinked groggily awake. Pei Yu frowned and asked, "Qiqi, what is a System?"

That accursed thing had moved right into her beloved's head!

Later, Ji Mingqi decided that the System was actually pretty useful.
