Zhang Ling thinks her life perfectly fulfills the three essentials of a Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio story: a scholar, a fox, and a debt of gratitude. It's only a matter of time before she reaches the pinnacle of life. But while the fox did repay her kindness, it turned out to be a male fox, and the scholar was a third-grade elementary schoolgirl.
A first-person strange tale.
