For once, Mu Hanxue felt a pang of pity and made him a deal. “Give me half your spirit fruit, and I’ll take you out of here. How about it?”

The boy curled up, staring at him with clear black-and-white eyes as a hoarse whimper rose from his throat.

Mu Hanxue had a little disciple.

The eight great clans sent out their best fighters, and the Crane-Slaying Edict became known throughout the land.

Yet they could never find any trace of Mu Hanxue.

Until one day, Mu Hanxue suddenly walked into the capital of Liyang with both hands raised and turned himself in. “I surrender.”

To prevent any tricks, Mu Hanxue was locked away in the most secret prison, Nantianmen.

Nantianmen drew on the power of the stars to suppress evil beings. Once inside, there was no way out unless you died and your soul was destroyed.

Mu Hanxue sat on the floor, gazing at the prison’s impenetrable walls, feeling completely secure.

Now that rebellious disciple won’t be able to find him!

Ye Chengguang fed on blood. He was a naturally demonic being.

Even his ruthless father, the Demon Lord, feared him, and had him suppressed with a Godbinding Chain in the deepest part of the forbidden grounds.

Ye Chengguang lived worse than a dog.

But that was all right. On his eighteenth birthday, Heaven sent him a gift to make up for it.

His Master protected him, loved him, and gave him a joy and delight he had never known.

Unfortunately, he had been too careless and accidentally let his Master discover his secret.

His Master disappeared.

Ye Chengguang slaughtered the clans and broke through the Heavenly Gate. At last, he found his Master.

The emotionless, heartless demonic being, hands stained with blood and tears falling like pearls, knelt before Mu Hanxue. He lifted his face and asked with a smile, “Master, will you come with me, or should I stay here and keep you company?”
