[A survival diary about a person and a cat in a wasteland. Not starting yet, so don't bookmark it for now.]
While hiking in the mountains, Jing Qiu inexplicably transmigrates to a wasteland world. She discovers that humanity abandoned this planet long ago, leaving behind only a few wasteland cannibal tribes that survive by eating man-eating beasts.
Unarmed, she accidentally wanders into a cannibal tribe on her very first day. While escaping, she happens to rescue a little orange cat.
She only stepped in to help someone in trouble, but the three-month-old kitten latches onto her.
Faced with a fight for survival, she can't even feed herself, let alone a little one. Jing Qiu hardens her heart and drives the orange cat away.
Orange Cat: Meow, meow! Let me come with you. I can help you scavenge!
Jing Qiu: I don't nee... Huh?! You can talk!!!
Orange Cat: You can understand me.
And so, the person and cat strike a deal, becoming an oddball team on the wasteland planet.
No food? I'll scavenge.
No knives? I'll make some.
No house? I'll build one!
No tools? Mimi will go find some!
The orange cat takes Jing Qiu scavenging for trash and gear, while Jing Qiu takes the cat farming and making food. From a cave to a big wooden house, from bark and roots to big fish and meat, from being unarmed to having a toolbox stocked with everything, Jing Qiu not only survives in this wasteland world but does quite well for herself.
One day, Jing Qiu opens the door and finds a large crowd of cannibals gathered outside.
Cannibals: Awoooo!
Jing Qiu: What are they saying? I can't understand them.
Orange Cat: They want you to teach them to farm and make food!
Reader's guide:
1. Semi-realistic wilderness survival and farming diary.
2. No romance throughout. The cat is female and can talk, but she's just a cat. You can think of her as a mascot.
Theme: Kittens are so cute, they deserve to be smothered in kisses by their aunties.
