A Summer of Endless Blossoms

Blurb:

By a stroke of luck, Gu Qing rents a prime storefront. Her landlord is handsome and easygoing. When her restaurant opens, Gu Qing starts receiving flowers from him one after another. She politely turns him down.

Before long, the landlord starts going on a steady stream of blind dates at the restaurant.

On Christmas Eve, Yang Ao finishes helping decorate the shop and tells her, "Today's the last one."

"Wishing you luck, Mr. Yang. Today's meal is on me."

But Yang Ao says, "Would you go on a blind date with me?"

Later, Gu Qing sees the painting Yang Ao has treasured in the library.

She painted it in her first year of high school and gave it to the boy who quietly left.

More than ten years later, when she sees Li Ao again, he has changed. He has climbed out of the mire and resolutely returned to her city, building a fortress as he waits for her to come back.

When a reporter asks Yang Ao, "What does she mean to you, and what is your relationship now?"

"What does she mean to me?" Yang Ao repeats thoughtfully. "She is the cloud above my Mount Wu, the dream I lost my way in on a summer night. And now, she's right here beside me."
