The Home Detective Conan Series: A Story from Another Universe

Warning: unconventional happy ending!

A while ago, I said I really wanted to write a crazy story: the apocalypse, two people, and a journey. In the biggest snowstorm before Christmas, they drive from Illinois to California. They laugh out loud on the road, escape the pursuit of fate, and embrace the sunset.

You told me you wanted to read it.

I said the main characters in this story were 27 and Kudo.

You told me to write it.

So this is probably that story: in a world about to be, and destined to be, destroyed by Byakuran, two people set off on a journey. In the biggest snowstorm before Christmas, they drive from Illinois to California.

They laugh out loud on the road, escape the pursuit of fate, and embrace the sunset.

[I'll start this one after the second book next door ends. It won't be very long, and after this I won't write any more stories set in the Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Detective Conan crossover world.]

[By the way, Byakuran makes a really convenient scapegoat, haha.]

Theme: Living in the face of death
