Partners in Justice Should Play Together

Seventeen-year-old Tsunayoshi, an ordinary high school student, returns to Beika Town to enjoy a long-awaited taste of normal high school life and avoid the approaching Vongola succession ceremony. Who could have guessed this normal life would be full of murder cases, phantom thieves, kidnappers, and men in black, men in black, men in black? Tsunayoshi stared in horror: Huh??? Why has Japan gotten so weird?! Before this, I only went to Italy, not another world! Conan: Relax. You'll get used to it. Kaito Kid: ... Tsunayoshi: Y-You're really that calm?! Kaito Kid: ...You don't get it. It's called keeping a poker face. * Everyone has secrets they can't tell. Everyone carries their own burdens. A boy's heart burns with passion. A lone courage faces down the world. Beneath the calm surface of everyday life, the liquor syndicate quietly reaches out its claws, the Zoo organization eyes a jewel that may be Pandora, and even the Vongola family is rife with undercurrents. But that's okay. We're all allies of justice, so of course we'll do this together. [Please note] This is a serious story with an ensemble cast, and the point-of-view character changes. The plot is entirely original. [Support] Although the story is divided into volumes, they're all connected, so I strongly advise against skipping any. The full story is quite long, so buying it chapter by chapter is better than subscribing to the whole thing at once. If it doesn't suit your taste, you can cut your losses in time. [Ships] The pairings mentioned in the story include Shinichi and Ran, Heiji and Kazuha, Sonoko and Makoto, Kora, (adult) Blue and Ping, and a few married couples with children from the original work. Please don't flood the comments with pairings that aren't mentioned! I understand everyone's excitement, but please try to keep the public space orderly. I'm begging you! [Progress] The liquor syndicate will be brought down, not just have its bottles smashed. I promise no characters from the original work will die, and I'll do my best to give everyone a happy ending that fits their character. [Writing] I'm trying to write suspense and make the logic work, but this is, at heart, a passionate adventure story. Please don't read it as a detective novel. [Afterword] I like putting worldbuilding and little scenes in the author's notes, and I'm an incurable chatterbox. Feel free to mute them if you like. [Setting] There are a lot of original worldbuilding details. The sequel set in the same universe, Amateur Actors Should Take Their Jobs Seriously Too, is available in my author profile. Sequel blurb: Tsunayoshi Sawada, godfather of the underworld, has recently run into a thorny problem. Someone has asked him to find their suddenly missing daughter, and the many clues all point to a movie currently in theaters. Matters outside the underworld shouldn't be handled with underworld methods. Guided by that principle, Tsunayoshi Sawada thought long and hard before making a bold decision. Shinichi Kudo, a college student and detective, has recently run into a thorny problem. Someone has hired him to find their suddenly missing younger brother, and the many clues all point to "Pfft, " Shinichi Kudo spat out the water he'd just taken into his mouth when he saw the figure appear on a prime-time TV show. ", Sawada???" "Veteran Mafia Members Join a Film Crew: A Triumph of Humanity or a Collapse of Morality?" "Behind the Camera: Uncovering the Underworld's Best-Kept Secrets" Reborn: Hm, I told you I know a great director. ●~● Tips: 1. The main setting is the Katekyo Hitman Reborn world, with Europe as the main map. Japan only features in part of the early story. 2. The Detective Conan characters who appear throughout the story are mainly Shinichi Kudo, Heiji Hattori, Kaito Kuroba, and Saguru Hakuba. (I've wanted to bring the young master along for the fun for ages!!!) Other characters may also appear, but won't be involved in the main story throughout. 3. Part of the inspiration for this premise comes from the fact that actual Mafia members participated in the filming of The Godfather. 4. I'll add more if I think of anything. Theme: A story about young people growing up together
