How to Face a Supernatural Invasion with a Secret Identity

[In this game, you toyed with ninety percent of the supernatural beings on this timeline.

Congratulations. As a mortal, you stole a fragment of the Boundary Stele from Tai Sui and took the Key to the River of Forgetfulness from the Bride-in-Waiting. They thought you were a Celestial Master willing to sell your own heart's blood to protect the Boundary Stele. They had no idea you were just a mortal playing a game.

But the Boundary Stele has already shattered, and the Sword-Bearer has fallen. Beneath the moon, you watched as the Skyfire of the Xuanxing Bureau cremated his remains.]

[Tai Sui has issued an order: within half a month, take your head to console the soldiers.]

[The Xuanxing Bureau, the Bride-in-Waiting, General Hejiao... They are all waiting to take your life.]

[The supernatural has invaded. Good luck surviving, Celestial Master.]

After spending half a month completing every story route, Zhu Xiuran felt the hairs on his body stand on end at the words in the ending credits.

Darkness enveloped everything around him.

He wasn't sure whether it had all just been a game cutscene, or whether ghosts and gods had really crossed the Boundary Stele into the mortal world.

Then, the next day, while waiting for a bus, he was suddenly shoved despite there being no one around. He was about to die in a traffic accident.

At the last possible moment, a familiar figure in moon-white robes appeared before his eyes. A slight movement of their fingers brought time to a halt for three minutes.

[Ding! The protagonist has been attacked. Secret Identity System activated.]

The game's mechanical voice sounded especially delightful.

Zhu Xiuran looked up at his very first secret identity and smiled with confidence.

...The supernatural had invaded?

Didn't see that coming, did you? My game secret identities came along too!

From then on, before the supernatural beings who crossed the Boundary Stele could even fight the guardians of the mortal world, they saw their archenemies sweep toward them, swords in hand.

Tai Sui: ...

Can't fight them, can't save them. I'm tired. Let's just destroy everything.
